Applies to:
Oracle Fusion Engagement Cloud Service - Version 11.13.18.05.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Customer is planning to leverage the Party Number to be CIF Number (Customer Identification Format - Custom field). After the data import, they wanted to continue the sequence of the Party Number thus, this request is opened.
e.g. They importing 000000001 up to 000059999 - if this is the last CIF after migration, manually record creation in the system should continue the sequence number (000060000).
Customer followed the below Steps:
1. Go to "Manage Trading Community Document Sequences" task
2. Search for Document Sequence Name : REGISTRY_ID
3. Change the initial value.
Question: As per requirement, CIF Number is a 9 digit number - e.g 000000123. They do want the leading zeroes in the Party number. because if they set the initial value as 1 - it will start from 1, 2,-20, 21 … and no leading zeroes. They need the leading zeroes as part for the format. But as Party Number is a number field, leading zeros are not stampped.
