Unable To Consume Taleo Enterprise Edition Webservice From OIC Using A SOAP Adapter (Doc ID 2505413.1)

Symptoms

Unable to test connection "CONN". [Cause: CASDK-0009]
 

CASDK-0009 : Unable to parse the resource. https://<host>/productZone/soap?ServiceName=<ServiceName>&wsdl, java.io.IOException: Error accessing the URL: https://<host>/productZone/soap?ServiceName=<ServiceName>&wsdl - recevied HTTP Response Code: 401. Verify that WSDL URL as well as the imported schemas within the WSDL are reachable, WSDL is valid and credentials if required are accurate
java.io.IOException: Error accessing the URL: https://<host>/productZone/soap?ServiceName=<ServiceName>&wsdl - recevied HTTP Response Code: 401
Error accessing the URL: https://<host>/productZone/soap?ServiceName=<ServiceName>&wsdl - recevied HTTP Response Code: 401

Tried with both "Basic Authentication" and "Username Password Token" Security Policy options in the SOAP adapter connection; for both options the above error is being thrown.
