Error: "Please enter a valid number" When Entering A Negative Value In P6 Reports (Doc ID 2505626.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run a custom report with a negative number entered, the following error occurs.

ERROR

"Please enter a valid number"

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Sign in to P6 Web
  2. Browse to Reports tab
  3. Run the custom report
  4. Enter "-10" in parameters, which makes the 'run' button not clickable
  5. Clicking 'run' displays the error message beneath the parameter box.
