Modifying the Oracle User Profile for a Salesforce User does not Update Fields - SFDC Lightning Adapter

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When integrating with Salesforce using the Lightning Adapter, in the Oracle User section of the Salesforce User page, applying a new Oracle User Profile to a previously-created user doesn't updated the other fields in this section. This can be seen by following these steps:
- Navigate to the SFDC User page.
- Edit the Oracle User section.
- Without modifying anything in this section, click Save. An Oracle CPQ Cloud Login will be generated, with all the other fields blank (e.g. User Type, Date/Time Format, etc.).
- Click Edit again.
- Select an Oracle User Profile.
- Click Save.
Instead of updating the Oracle User fields automatically when the profile is selected, the fields remain empty.
