NoSearchResults Layout is Not Displaying when there are no search results. Blank search page loads instead

Symptoms
In the search bar of the storefront, When we look for a product that does not exit, for example <'product001'>, the noSearchResults layout should be displayed, and it usually happens most of the time.
However, when we previously look for other existing products such as <'product003'>, <'product002'>, and then search for <'product001'>' it does not redirect to the noSearchResults layout.
Instead, The same search results layout is loaded with blank results.
Changes
Custom Widgets replaced the OOTB widgets.
