Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
The Resource spreadsheet is not the same in P6 Professional and P6 Web for resources without curve assigned

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into P6 Professional.
  2. Create a project.
  3. Create an activity.
  4. Assign a start date of 1 Jan 2019.
  5. Assign a finish date of 31 Dec 2019.
  6. Create a non-labor or material resource (untick calculate costs from units and auto compute actuals).
  7. Assign the new resource to the new activity.
  8. In the Resources tab Activity details, enter a value for Planned Costs (e.g. 1,200,000). Planned dates for the resource should be the same dates as the activity.
  9. Schedule the project (1 Jan 2019).
  10. Go to the Resource Assignments view.
  11. Display the Planned Units and Planned Costs on the right-hand spreadsheet and set the Timescale to Month/Financial Period.
  12. Notice that the planned cost sits on the First Financial Period Jan 2019.
  13. Log into P6 Web.
  14. Go to the Resources tab.
  15. Click the Assignments link.
  16. Create a filter for the new project ID created in Step 2 above so that you only list the resource assignment(s) for this project.
  17. Display the Planned Units and Planned Costs on the right-hand spreadsheet and set the Timescale to Month/Financial Period.
  18. Notice that the planned cost is spread across the planned dates of the resource assignment.
  19. Go back to P6 Pro.
  20. In the Resources tab Activity details, customize the columns and display the Curve column, notice that it is blank.
