HCM Data Loader (HDL): Errors While Loading Attachments Using HDL - HRC-1035284, HRC-1035257, HRC-1035405 (Doc ID 2511571.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to load Documents Of Record (DOR) or any ZIP file with attachments (in BlobFiles folder) using HCM Data Loader (HDL), the following errors are seen:

• This DocumentAttachment row cannot be processed. The file ABCD.pdf referenced by the File attribute does not exist in the BlobFiles folder. (HRC-1035284)
• The file BlobFiles\ABCD.pdf has an invalid file extension. The file extension must be dat. (HRC-1035257)
• No objects can be loaded because no valid objects exist. Review the error messages, correct the data, and resubmit the data in a new file. (HRC-1035405)

These errors are usually seen when the ZIP file is created by a custom program (this is usually done to automate HDL loads).

Upon unzipping the file, manually re-zipping it and loading it again manually, the file is usually processed successfully.
