External System Cannot Communicate With WMS Because Of The Output Interface Filename. (Doc ID 2512588.1)

Last updated on APRIL 20, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management Enterprise Edition Cloud Service - Version 18 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

External system cannot communicate with WMS because it cannot capture the exact filename of the output file so API 'update_output_interface' does not work.
This is because the date format is ‘yyyymmddhhmmss’ and there is always a difference of time in the date.

The timestamp that is  sent in the WOA file is different than the one in the WOA filename by a few seconds. This is why external system cannot capture the exact filename
Many files can be generated in one day but they are different because of the wave_nbr.

We want external system to capture exactly the filename that is in date format 'yyyymmddhhmmss'.
