Employee having Benefits Specialist role is Unable To Access Their Own Record (Doc ID 2512865.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 18, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Benefits Cloud Service - Version 11.13.18.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.13.18.10.0 version, Manage Benefits

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
In DEV POD, when an employee that has Benefits Admin role as well as the employee one, accesses Benefits, he is not able to access his enrollments.
When performing the same steps in TEST POD, this issue does not exist.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login as an user that has Employee and Benefits Admin custom roles attached.
2. Click on Benefits - see there is a screen that allows you to choose the session date you're logging with (and it should not display this on the page, as this is self service <SSBEN>, not admin view).
3. Repeat the same steps in TEST POD and see there the user has access to his own benefits, and to change / modify them as well.
