EPM Cloud: How to Resolve "User does not exist for this application." after Deleting User via My Services (Doc ID 2513458.1)

Goal

After deleting PBCS user from My Services, you may face error when importing artifact snapshot into the environment because user information may remain in user preferences.

This document describe how ow to resolve this error.

 

[Steps to see the error]

1. Delete user via My Services
2. Export application snapshot from PBCS. This snapshot may contains deleted user(s).
3. Import application snapshot.
  --> Following error occurs:

EPMLCM-14000: Error reported from Hyperion Planning.
/Configuration/User Preferences :- Import failed, total - [Num], failed - [Num], duration - [Num](ms).
Error details - User [USERNAME] does not exist for this application.
