'XLA-870990' Error When Concatenate Two Numeric Source Values In Subledger Accounting (Doc ID 2513893.1)

On : 11.13.18.05.0 version, Functional Setup Manager

In Subledger Accounting - Custom Formula's can't Concatenate 2 numeric source values

Trying to concatenate 2 values (neither of which s a date field) and on validation get the error:

ERROR
 "The parameter data type or date format is incorrect for the concatenate function.(XLA-870990) If Date is entered in the parameter, you must use the same format as this example 2010-JAN-12



STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Trying to concatenate 2 numeric values (neither of which s a date field) in Manage Formulas: Project Costing
Got above error.
