SSO: Error: 407 or 401 Unauthorized with Third Party IP Security (Doc ID 2514162.1)

Symptoms

In an environment where SSO is used for internal Candidate access to Taleo internal Career Section, the candidates receive a 401 error and are denied access when attempting to access the Internal Career Section via SSO. 

A browser trace of the issue contains the following:  HTTP/1.1 407 Unauthorized.


There is an antivirus product installed for the customer's user that also includes a proxy.  If turned off the candidate's access to the Career Section via SSO is OK.

 

 

Changes

The client is implementing a third party IP Security process.

When the virus scan function is enabled the internal candidate receives the error.
