Purpose

The Oracle Content & Experience cloud service will be providing enhanced utilities to assist customers in migrating legacy Documents Cloud & Content & Experience cloud instances (Traditional accounts) to the newer OCI domain environments in the last half of 2019.  In the event that a customer wishes to migrate their subscription and/or instance sooner than the migration utilities will be available, this technical note provides guidance for doing so manually.

Scope

This note is only applicable to existing customers currently deployed on Oracle’s legacy internal compute or Oracle’s OCI Classic (OCI-C) cloud services infrastructure and wish to migrate to Content & Experience Cloud on Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) on external compute.
