Pre-scheduled Processes Are Not Working After Username Update (Doc ID 2516324.1)

Symptoms

A user scheduled processes to run at predefined frequency with a user account . Later,  the Username of the user was changed.
After the change in username, ESS processes are ending in error status . In addition,  in the Schedule process page, the submitted by column displays the old user name for the previously scheduled process.
The same Processes succeed if run manually.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
