Unifier Mobile On Android Download Failed After Performing Data Reset And Only Option To Choose Is 'Download Again'

Information in this document applies to any platform.
After performing a data reset with the Unifier mobile application for Android, the data reset completes but the error below is displayed and the user is stuck in a loop.
The mobile application has been stopped, uninstalled and reinstalled but when the application launched, the user is still stuck in the loop of the failed data download and has no way of getting around the issue.
Unifier. Data download has failed. The only option to select is: Download Again.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Login to the Unifier app.
- Click Settings
- Click Data Reset
- Click Reset All Data
- Review the message: Data reset will erase all the Unifier data stored locally on your device and then reload latest data. You should synchronize all the local changes before running data reset.
- Select 'Reset Data For' and enter a custom date. Ex: 11/15/18.
- Click Reset.
- Once completed, the error message displays.
