When Importing an XER, especially a large one, to Update Existing Project in P6 Professional through ProCloudConnect with Client-Side-Cache Enabled, the Professional Client gets frozen.
P6 Professional is not frozen when Importing the XER.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Connect P6 Professional to EPPM through ProCloudConnect with Client-Side-Cache Enabled enabled.
2. Import a XER which has more than 1k Activities. Choose "Update Existing Project."
3. P6 Professional gets frozen.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot Import XER with good performance.
