(Doc ID 2519764.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 07, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Fusion General Ledger Cloud Service - Version 11.13.19.01.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Customer noticed something odd, in terms of the specific Rate, and the precision used, for differing processes in Fusion.
- Corporate Exchanges rates are loaded in via interface, and have a precision of ~15.
- When Revaluation runs, it uses this full precision to revalue balances.
- When loading Interface files via FBDI, and utilizing the Corporate Exchange rate, a limited precision is used (6).
- This means, that even though interface files can be processed in on the same rate date/conversion date as the Reval is run on, Reval will still produce an output, due to the differing precision used.
