When WMS Interfaces to an external Web Service it fails with BAD REQUEST (Doc ID 2520934.1)

Symptoms

Outbound interface to a rest service is completing in error the UI does not provide details of the error.
When executing the interface via postman it completes successfully.

The job is setup as follows: 

Schedule jobs screen:

Interface Type : <Any interface>  
Interface format : XML
Protocol : REST Web Services
URL: <Web service's URL> 


When the job runs it fails with :
