Symptoms
Symptoms:
1) "The selected plan does not have sufficient balance to complete the transaction." error message is received when an absence is applied
2) Accrual is not calculated for employee when Calculate Accrual and Balances process is run
The ESS log capture the following message:
"Job errored with message: oracle.apps.fnd.applcore.messages.ApplcoreException: JBO-ANC:::ANC_INSUFFICIENT_BALANCE: <MESSAGE><NUMBER>ANC-3405096</NUMBER><TEXT>The selected plan does not have sufficient balance to complete the transaction.</TEXT><CAUSE></CAUSE><ACTION></ACTION><DETAILS></DETAILS><INCIDENT></INCIDENT></MESSAGE>"
Changes
Starting with 18C, the code was changed to check negative balance when running accruals.
