Symptoms

When logging in to a website, a 500 error is seen in the browser.
This application works on premise, but encounters the error when migrating to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

It only occurs if the attempt to connect is made through the load balancer. 
In the application log, an SSL connection reset error is seen.
