Wallet Directory Missing in OCI DBCS VM (Doc ID 2525072.1)

Symptoms

Customer observed that the Wallet directory is missing in their OCI DBCS VM.
When they verified the information in SQL level, its showing status as 'UNKNOWN'

SQL> select * from v$encryption_wallet;

WRL_TYPE WRL_PARAMETER STATUS WALLET_TYPE WALLET_OR FULLY_BAC CON_ID
-------------------- -------------------- --------------- -------------------- --------- --------- ----------
FILE NOT_AVAILABLE UNKNOWN SINGLE UNDEFINED 3

In filesystem level, its showing 'No such file or directory'.

[oracle@host ~]$ echo $ORACLE_HOME
/u01/app/oracle/product/12.2.0.1/dbhome_1

[oracle@host ~]$ echo $ORACLE_UNQNAME

[oracle@host ~]$ echo $ORACLE_SID
<sid>

SQL> show parameter db_unique_name;

NAME TYPE VALUE
------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------
db_unique_name string <db_unique_name>

[oracle@host ~]$ cd /opt/oracle/dcs/commonstore/wallets/tde/
-bash: cd: /opt/oracle/dcs/commonstore/wallets/tde/: No such file or directory

# export ORACLE_UNQNAME=<db_unique_name>
# sqlplus / as sysdba

SQL> select * from v$encryption_wallet;

WRL_TYPE WRL_PARAMETER STATUS WALLET_TYPE WALLET_OR FULLY_BAC CON_ID
-------------------- -------------------- --------------- -------------------- --------- --------- ----------
FILE /opt/oracle/dcs/comm NOT_AVAILABLE UNKNOWN SINGLE UNDEFINED 1
onstore/wallets/tde/
<db_unique_name>/
