Symptoms

When attempting to add Personal Payment Method in Employee Self Service (ESS) , the following error occurs.

ERROR

An error occurred while processing formula SHOW ORGANIZATION PAYMENT METHOD ON SIMPLIFIED USER INTERFACE. (PAY-1635420)
Review any accompanying messages that identify the person, element, or other details. Review the formula to determine the cause of this problem.

No Organization Payment Method Available for the selected Payment Type. oracle.apps.fnd.applcore.messages.FndMessagesUtil$FndMapResourceBundle

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Select Personal Information
2. Click on Payroll tab > Press Add next to Payment Methods
3. Select Autopay which is the Payment Type, error message displays
4. Error is returned
