Way to have Groovy Code to Add Attachments will Modify Opty Object (Doc ID 2528075.1)

Last updated on APRIL 22, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Sales Cloud Service - Version 11.12.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Adding "getPrimaryRowState().isModified()" to a trigger/function does  check for a record's "dirty" state.  This code is not working for  Attachments. When  update a field (1) and don't save, the code update will  identify the "dirty" data state but when I add an attachment (2), click on  "ok" from the Attachments window, don't click on the Save button, and run the  Function/Action that contains the code to check the "dirty" state
(isModified), there is no indication of a "dirty" state as in the first case
(1).
