Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Payroll Flow-Output of Business Intelligence (BI) Report is Blank.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Executing Custom Payroll Flow should generate export output.
The Payroll flow report is failing. After updating the data type of the parameters of the report from Menu to Text, the Payroll Flow runs successfully but the report output is blank.
Tried creating a custom flow having only one report, and the issue is the same. The Report output is blank every time although the parameters given are same at both levels.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. When running a custom BI report from Reports and Analytics work area, report output is generated.
2. When running the same report through a custom Payroll Flow that has been created, the report output is blank.
This is a custom Payroll Report, details below: Report name: Payroll – Payroll Processes
Report Path: /Custom/Human Capital Management/Payroll/Payroll - Payroll
This report is titled Payroll - Payroll Processes and it fetches details about the different Payroll Processes such as Quick Pay, Payroll Calculation along with the LDG, Flow Name, Payroll Name, Consolidation Group etc for a payroll cycle that passes start and end date as parameters.
For example, a report was run for the period 28/10 to 10/11, and data can be seen in the Excel that was downloaded from Reports and Analytics Work Area.
