Goal

We are finding that in the Oracle BI Catalog page when folders or subfolders are moved, the owner of the folder and all objects (Reports, Data Models) in the folder change ownership to the person that moved the folder.

It breaks any audit trail of who created reporting objects when their ownership keeps getting overwritten.
Steps to Copy and Paste folders:
(1) Select folder
(2) Select Copy icon
(3) Navigate to new location
(4) Select Paste icon

It can also occur by Archiving a folder (and its contents), then Unarchiving the file into a new location.
The folders and object are always moved within the same Catalog and server

Please advise how we can ensure reporting objects retain their creator as owner.
