Seniority Dates under Manage Work Relationship - fields going away soon?

Our organization is currently utilizing "Legal Employer Seniority Date" field under "Manage Work Relationship" screen for the Seniority Dates reporting. This field is always blank by default. We were looking for ways to have it auto populated with Hire Date, and when going through Customer Connect we noticed a comment that said "these 2 seniority dates (seniority dates under "Manage Work Relationship") ... would be retired sometime in the future and Oracle is recommending to use Manage Seniority dates page for all seniority date requirements".

We would like to confirm the following:
- Are those data fields going away?
- When are they going away? (estimated date/release)
