Renaming A BP And Creating A New BP With the Same Name Causes A Conflict: "The system could not process your request...." ORA-01722: invalid number (Doc ID 2532057.1)

Symptoms

On Unifier : Any Version

After deploying any Business Process (BP), and then renaming the BP and creating a new BP with the same historical name:

Example: Original BP name is 'Special Process', then it is renamed to 'Special Process Do Not Use', and a new BP is created and named 'Special Process'.

Expected Result

The new BP should be able to be deployed.

Actual Result

The following is seen through the UI: Unifier Notification: The system could not process your request. Logging in again may help in some cases. Contact your System Administrator if you are still having problems.

The following is found in the Unifier log files: java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-01722: invalid number

Business Impact

Because of this the new BP cannot be deployed.

Note: This issue only happens on a non-production instance of Unifier because you cannot change the name of a business process or other component once it has been imported into production.
