Copy/Paste Project Job Fails With Error 'Lease request timeout while waiting 30 seconds for connection to become available' in the P6 Web Log (Doc ID 2534129.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to copy/paste a project, the job fails and the following error occurs in the P6WebAccess.html file:

Could not get JDBC connection; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: Lease request timeout while waiting 30 seconds for connection to become available
Database XXXXXX  Pool=PML

 

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1. Log into P6 Professional.
  2. Copy and Paste a project.
  3. Job fails; view error in log.
