Fusion Global Payroll: Blank Value on Element Entry Pays Daily Schedule Hours * Days in Pay Period (Doc ID 2534528.1)

Goal

If the hours value field is left blank on an element entry, the system defaults to paying the daily schedule hours * the number of days in the pay period. For example, we have schedule that is set up as 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. We have a bi-weekly pay period. If the hours value on an element entry is left blank for an employee on this schedule, the system defaults to paying 336 hours for that entry (24 hours * 14 days in pay period). This can result in extreme overpayments.

The issue does not occur if a value is entered in the "hours" field. The issue only occurs if the value is left blank and is why I raised the SR. The system's default action should not be to pay "daily schedule hours * days in pay period" if the input value is left blank by mistake.
