RPASCE: Closing Workbook Results in "Error closing workbook" after Changing Format (Doc ID 2536213.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to close a workbook after making a format change, the following error occurs: "Error closing workbook <workbook name>: error".

This occurs when the format call is taking time to apply to the cell (more than 5 mins) and the user attempts to close the workbook before the format call is finished.
