Symptoms

Unifier Version 18.8.7

When creating a Custom Calendar by copying the Company Calendar for example and then setting this new calendar to a 6 or 7 day work week, the Administrator cannot save the changes. It reverts back to the default calendar that it was created from.

After upgrading the same environment to Primavera Unifier version 18.8.7, when trying to modify a non-working day to a working day, the following Alert message is displayed:  "<Day #> is a Weekly off day. This day cannot be set as a working day."

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expecting that a created calendar will keep the Working/Non-Working day settings, or that the Administrator will be able to modify non-working days to be working days if desired and not see the Alert message.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into a Unifier Environment that is older than Primavera Unifier version 18.8.7.
  2. Navigate to Company Workspace > Admin Mode > Standards & Libraries > Calendars > Copy the Company Calendar > Then Set All of the Saturdays to "Working" days for example.
  3. Click OK to save the Custom Calendar.
  4. Reopen the Saved Calendar and it is back to a 5 day work week, is it not retaining the Working/Non-Working day setting changes.
  5. Upgrade the environment to Primavera Unifier version 18.8.7.
  6. Log into the Unifier Environment that has been upgraded to Primavera Unifier version 18.8.7 or later.
  7. Navigate to Company Workspace > Admin Mode > Standards & Libraries > Calendars > Copy the Company Calendar > Select any non-working Saturday or Sunday day, and the following message is displayed: "<Day #> is a Weekly off day. This day cannot be set as a working day."
