A Work Order Completion Cannot Be Costed, Since No Receipt Cost Is Present (Doc ID 2539003.1)

Symptoms

A Work Order Completion cannot be costed, since no Receipt Cost is present
Need to fix a cancelled Work Order, with a job Completion, without a Receipt Cost.
 

In Review Cost Accounting Processes, getting the Error message:

“The outgoing inventory transaction could not be costed because there is no layer cost for the item. There is no layer cost for the quantity being depleted. This could happen if: the transaction is depleted from a receipt that is not costed due to a missing cost, or this issue is set to negative inventory depletion and there are no other receipts with a cost, or the cost profile is set to use the first receipt layer option and there are no other receipts with a cost and quantities that are not depleted.”


Review Cost Accounting Distributions > Transaction Error message:

   "The receipt is missing a cost"
