When correcting an employee's grade and step, the following error occurs:
The effective date update operation for Entity AssignGradeStepsDEO failed because an existing row has the effective start date that matches the effective date. key=oracle.jbo.Key[300000xxxxx 2019-03-01 2019-12-06 ]
In Person Management search for employee
Click on the employee's name in the search results
Click on the down arrow on the "Edit" button and select "Correct"
Click "OK" to select previous Action and Action Reason
Click on the icon at right of Grade to access Step screen
Select a step
Click on "OK"
