Error When Creating Web Service: "Failed to read WSDL: HTTP connection error code is 502" (Doc ID 2543239.1)

Symptoms

When trying to create a Webservice in OTM you are receiving a HTTP 502 error.

The URL WSDL is working fine on your network but not from OTM.

Steps to replicate:

Navigate to Business Process Automation > Communication Management > Web Services > New

Select + to create new WSDL Document, then Document Detail (leave other fields blank)

Enter an ID, for Storage select URL, Mime Type enter the WSDL URL, then Finished

You are returned to the Web Service Definition screen.

Select Service Details
