Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Customer is trying to use custom object APIs, to create a new relatedObject record. The webservice returns no response though, suggesting something is wrong with the way it is called.
- The customer is using REST API to run the createEntity webservice to create a new record in custom object.
- For reference they attached a screenshot of the object setup in AppComposer and the most recent payload (not working) that they are trying to use:

<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:typ="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/cdm/foundation/custextn/extnService/types/">
<soapenv:Header/>
<soapenv:Body>
<typ:createEntity>
<typ:object xsi:type="ns1:MCK_PracticeAssignments_c" xmlns:ns1="/oracle/apps/cdm/foundation/custextn/views/common/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<ns1:Organization_Id_AccounttoPracticeAssignments>100000000954417</ns1:Organization_Id_AccounttoPracticeAssignments>
<ns1:MCK_PracticeAssignIndustry>300000002633074</ns1:MCK_PracticeAssignIndustry>
<ns1:MCK_IndustryPractice>Adv Electronics</ns1:MCK_IndustryPractice>
<ns1:MCK_PracticeAssignPrimary>false</ns1:MCK_PracticeAssignPrimary>
<ns1:MCK_PracticeAssignComment_c>comment test</ns1:MCK_PracticeAssignComment_c>
</typ:object>
<typ:objectName>MCK_PracticeAssignments_c</typ:objectName>
</typ:createEntity>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>

The expectation would be that this creates a new "Practice Assignment" custom object record for Party 100000000954417.
