Encountered "No More Data To Read From Socket" Intermittently While Executing LP (Doc ID 2549200.1)

Symptoms

After initiating a load plan (LP) execution by Data Integration Cloud Service (DICS), it will begin to process data. However, some time later it encounters the following error message:

ODI-1519: Serial step "EXECUTION_STARTUP (InternalID:<ID>)" failed because child step "<CHILD_STEP_NAME>" is in error.
ODI-1217: Session <SESSION_NAME> fails with return code 17410.
ODI-1226: Step <STEP_NAME> fails after 1 attempt(s).
ODI-1228: Task Variable -<VARIABLE_NAME> - fails on the target connection <TARGET_CONNECTION_NAME>.
Caused By: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: No more data to read from socket
