Symptoms

On : 11.13.18.05.0 version, .Manage Compensation

We receive the error upon submission of the salary adjustment for an employee
 
ERROR
-----------------------
Salary element entry could not be created. (CMP-1005343)
ORA-20001: The employment level entered is not eligible for the element US Annual Salary on 2009-01-01.
Details: You cannot grant the element to the payroll relationship, terms or assignment unless it meets the element eligibility criteria and has an element costing record.
Ensure that a suitable element costing rule exists for the element, and that the eligibility criteria for a person matches those defined on the costing rule.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Query employee within Person Management
2.Click on Manage Salary
3.Click on Propose New Salary
4.Enter any salary details
5. Click Submit
