Compensation Default and Override Fast Formula- how to retrieve max salary linked to max sequence of current grade's ladder

User has several progression grade ladders, each containing at least 1 grade with rate values. In the workforce compensation sheet user needs to retrieve the max grade rate value linked to the max sequence for the progression grade ladder containing the current grade.
So if the employee's assignment is in grade b and this grade is tied to a progression grade ladders with grade a (sequence 1), grade b (sequence 2) and grade c (sequence3) user needs the max grade rate value tied to grade c. If the progression grade ladder would only contain grades a and b, the max grade rate value tied to grade b needs to be retrieved.

How can this be achieved using a Compensation Default and Override formula?
