Unable To Open Cost Accounting Period (Doc ID 2549622.1)

On : version, Cost Management

User is not able to open Cost Accounting period.

The period cannot be opened CST(2385103)
Cause Number of open periods already reached the maximum permissible of {MAX_OPEN_PERIODS}
Action Close the oldest open period or increase maximum number of periods

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Goto manage costing periods UI
2. Select the period
3. Click on target open period
4. Getting error

This is happening in production , because of this issue, user is not able to proceed with new transactions
