On : 11.13.19.01.0 version, Functional Setup Manager
When attempting to activate Journal Line Rules, the following error occurs.
The process ends in error
The logs shows:
29-04-2019 17:02:43 - Warning: validation failed for p_application_id: 140, l_jers_code: XYZ_TERM_GAIN_LOSS
xla.plsql.xla_xlaabacr_xmlp_pkg.beforereport=>Error while validate and activating ABC. l_application_id: 140, l_accounting_method_code: STD_ACCRUAL, sqlerrm: User-Defined Exception
- The activation report shows:
Error Category Account rules: The account rules assigned to journal lines use sources in conditions that were not assigned to event class.
User Details: Remove the source from the account rule conditions, or select a different account rule for assignment to the journal entry line.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create Journal Line Rules using the source Retirement Type with the event class Terminal Gain and Loss
2. Run the Activate Subledger Journal Entry
