Mass Addition Of FIxed Assets Using FBDI Or ADFDi Result in Errors for the Locations And Categories. (Doc ID 2551962.1)

Symptoms

Trying to upload 8000 assets using FBDI file, it throws an error saying location error/category error.
When using ADFDI, the count possible for 1 round is 5000, when loading 1000 assets per batch, system will only load the first 100 assets.

ERROR
-----------------------
The value XXXXXXX for the flexfield segment {SEGMENT} is too long.
The location is invalid. Enter a valid location.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Fill in the FBDI template. Prepare the data in all relevant worksheets.
2. Click the Generate CSV File button. The program generates both a comma-separated values (CSV) file and a .zip file.
3. Navigate to the Scheduled Processes page.
4. Navigate to the File Import and Export page to upload the .zip file.
5. Navigate to the Scheduled Processes page.
6. Schedule New process and select "Load Interface File for Import" job.
7. Select Import process "Post Mass Additions"
8. Click on Data file drop down list and select the zip file you uploaded at step 4.
9. Submit process.
