Employee Payslip Shows 80 Hours For Exempt Part Time Employees (Doc ID 2552870.1)

We recently implemented Oracle Time and Labor and Absence Management.
As part of the implementation, we assigned work schedules to all employees in order to default their absence duration based on work schedules.

The issue we are facing now is that the employee payslip shows that employee worked 80 hours, and it reduces daily rate based on FTE factor.
Before work schedules, the payslip showed correct hours based on FTE factor and rate based on annualized rate for Exempt PT employees.

For example, Person number XXXX is 0.8 FTE. this means that he works 32 hours a week. He took 16 hours of absence in last biweekly pay period.
In his payslip, the Earnings Descriptions show 64 hours of Regular hours (80-16) and 16 hours of Absence.
It effectively reduced their Rate based on FTE factor instead.

This is misrepresenting the hours worked by the employee.
