Is There A Way To Do A Manual Replenishment After Replenishment Has Been Triggered By A Replenishment Wave? (Doc ID 2553144.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 30, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management Enterprise Edition Cloud Service - Version 18 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Is it standard functionality to receive a "Location already has a Distribution Replenishment" after a Replenishment is wave is run and before the picking has been done?

Is it possible to do a Manual Replenishment after a Location has already been triggered for Replenishment?

Example:

Location# A-B-C
Min capacity 50 and Mac capacity 100
Current capacity in location 20
User runs replenishment wave and location# A-B-C gets selected for replenishment from bulk location. A Replenishment task is created with 500 total picks for replenishment.
Due to a rush order user does not want to execute all of the tasks because there may be a wait from 1 to 500 for replenishing location# A-B-C. rather the user wants to perform a manual replenishment.

When attempting to run a Manual Replenishment, the system shows the following error for this location as it already has a replenishment trigger from the prior Replenishment Wave

"Location already has a Distribution Replenishment"
