Symptoms

Error when trying to lock an HCM Extract Definition.

An error occurs when following these steps:

  1. Unlock and change an extract definition and the delivery option.
  2. Save and Submit.
  3. Attempt to lock the extract definition again. The error 'You cannot lock or freeze this extract because it is not validated' is displayed.
  4. Exit the extract definition and open it by clicking its name.
  5. Validate the extract successfully, and then open the extract for editing. The same error message is displayed.

    The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

    1. Unlock extract and edit.
    2. Save and Submit.
    3. Lock the extract.
