Updates To Product Type Are Not Appearing In Storefront (Doc ID 2554700.1)

Symptoms

Updated values of Product Type in OCCS admin instance is not reflecting in storefront. In most of the cases when Product Type attribute name it edited and updated ideally the updated attribute name needs to get reflected in the filter section of storefront but for most of the product types it is not working as per extension.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to OCCS Admin Instance
2. Navigate to catalog
3. Click on Product Type
4. Update attribute name from “ABCType” to “XYZType”
5. Publish the changes.
6. After publishing the changes, navigate to storefront 
7. Click on filters it is not updated to XYZType and still shows ABCType
