Cannot Use Receivables Source for Chart of Account Balancing Rules (Doc ID 2554800.1)

Symptoms

We have updated the Intercompany balancing rule by disabling the category rule 'Other/Other' as we don't want to keep it for all sources, and create a new rule for Receivables source.

However at time of creating manual AR transactions we are facing the below errors

ERROR

The intercompany account was not generated. {GL_ERROR}. (FUN-720180)
The intercompany balancing account combination does not exist. (FUN-720315)


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create Chart of account balancing rule with source/category Other/Other
2. Create manual intercompany transaction in AR
3. The invoice can be saved and REC account correctly generated from the rule
4. End-date the rule and create a rule with Source Receivables
5. Try to create a manual transaction in AR
6. The transaction cannot be saved as the system raises the error: "The intercompany account was not generated. {GL_ERROR}. (FUN-720180)
The intercompany balancing account combination does not exist. (FUN-720315)"
