Unit Of Measure Auto Changing When A Variant Of The Inner/Case Pack Is Entered As An Each Value (Doc ID 2556151.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service - Version 16.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a specific unit of measure is selected and the system changes it, it creates issues if any changes are to be made. When eaches are selected and the system converts it to inner, all future edits must be in inner, which may not be appropriate for the available on hands. Deleting and re-adding can also cause a separate issue when the user takes the approved transfer and attempts to move it to input status to edit it.

Steps To Reproduce:

1. Create an item with an inner pack size > 1 (for example 3).
2. Range the item to two locations and create an inventory adjustment at the one location to increase the on-hand.
3. Create a new Transfer.
4. Select Details.
5. Select Add.
6. Enter Item Number and a Transfer Quantity that equals a derivative of an inner pack and select EA (each).
7. Select OK.
8. Notice that the UOM automatically switched to INR even though Each was selected.
