The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute service provides console connections that enable you to remotely troubleshoot malfunctioning instances. It allows to diagnose boot problems or cases where you are unable to access the instance.

There are two types of instance console connections:

• Serial console connections

• VNC console connections
