Record Log Search Return Does not Include Records Where Yes/No DE Value is Blank (Doc ID 2558635.1)

On :  Unifier Version 18.x or higher

When a Yes/No Data Element (DE) is added to a Business Process (BP) log, and there are records that are not equal to yes or no, in other words, the drop down is blank, these records do not get returned when the search has the yes/no criteria set to 'does not equal' and the search value set to yes, or set to no.

When a Yes/No DE is set to blank, the search should return these records.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to Unifier and go to a BP log that has a Yes/No DE
2. Ensure that there are records that have no value in the DE, and have records that have the DE = no and/or yes
3. Click on Search button and set the criteria for that DE to 'does not equal', and value to either No, or Yes
4. Notice that in either case, records that have no value in that DE are not returned.
