Symptoms

An Error is reported when Order Management Extensions are executed to invoke a Web Service:

An error occurred when running extension XXXXXXXX during event On Save: oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.lang.RuntimeException, msg=oracle.apps.scm.doo.orchInfra.publicModel.service.integration.ServiceException: When calling the connector ZZZZZZ, the following error occurred: Message send failed: Missing WWW-Authenticate header.. (DOO-2685846).

In this instance:

1. The Connector URL is an OIC WSDL. i.e. the end point web service is being invoked using OIC. The URL can be obtained by:
1.1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance
1.2. Search for and Select the task - Manage External Interface Web Service Details
1.3. Search for the connect name defined in the Order Management Extension
